Seeing Jesus as the Savior
Our relationship to God is possible because of
A. Who Jesus is, and
B. What Jesus did.

NOTE. Jesus is related to God, in the same way that
light is related to the sun. There is no difference between what
light is made out of and what the sun is made out of. The light
comes from the sun, and makes it possible for us to know about the
sun. In the same way, Jesus comes out from God, and Jesus makes it
possible for us to know about God.

care of the problem of sin? (7) _____
B. What Jesus did.
Read Romans 5:19. The first man mentioned is Adam,
who was the first one to sin. The second man mentioned is
Jesus. We did not obey God, so what did Jesus do so that God would
accept us? (8) _____ ("righteous" means "nothing
wrong with us.")
Read Philippians 2:5-11. In verse 8, what did Jesus
do out of obedience? (9) _______
Read 1 Peter 2:24. What did Jesus bear in His body?
(10) _____

What did Jesus do so that all these people could belong to God? (12) _____
